CHP Executive Director Vicki Gunn has instructed me that we are to bill the setup and development of the candidate pages on CHP.ca to the candidate's campaign as per Elections Canada regulations. We have crafted an invoice for your page and you may view and pay your bill online: in.xero.com/Kx0XU6meMVHu5kWvRMoDJwmTy5XMqvDkjXGIValw If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks, David Tonen and Garth Holmes Be Responsive Media Inc.

I was never told this was going to cost me anything, and I never agreed to pay for anything! Where does this billing thing come from? And 80$ to post one picture, one address and a microscopic bio? Good Lord! I'm a webmaster myself, I do all of my web programming for free! You can check my CHP page on the local site: www.chp-quebec.ca/en/election.htm I even supply a "one-stop-shop" for all the other candidates! www.chp-quebec.ca/en/varia/louishebert2015.htm For free! I don't care about the 80$, but I'm running a "no donations-- no expenses" campaign. If I pay a single bill, I lose my 1000$ held by Elections Canada! If you had told me about this ahead of time, I would have refused to have a page on the CHP web site. Our local site is vastly sufficient. Anyway, I'm surprised, and not pleasantly surprised, Stefan Jetchick
Sorry, I mistakenly deleted the e-mail that the National Campaign Director (M. Peter Vogel) sent me, but my response has the relevant passage.

I'm afraid that it was probably not me that forgot, since I had been planning all along to do a "no donations-no expenses" campaign, so I would have jumped 10 feet high if I had been told I was to be billed any amount of money.
